Biography
I am a chemist with expertise in nanotechnology and biosensor development, holding a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from University of Allahabad, Prayagraj India, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2021 from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. During my Ph.D. I have worked on the development of nanomaterial based electrochemical biosensors and optical sensors for mycotoxins detection. From 2022 to 2024, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Houston, Texas, USA, where my research was focused on designing nanophotonics based nanoplasmonic sensor integrated with microfluidics for exosomes detection in human plasma sample with application in cancer diagnostics. Currently, I joined as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Crete (Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB) at FORTH), focusing on developing the AquaBiosensor platform for detecting aquatic organic contaminants as part of the EU-HORIZON project “AquaBioSens.”
