Biography
I am a molecular biologist currently pursuing a Ph.D. on the development of a novel diagnostic approach for the detection of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) using acoustic biosensors, at the University of Crete, Greece. I hold a bachelor in Biology and an M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine.
My research interests include the development of novel diagnostic methods for clinical applications and point-of-care testing. I have received extensive multidisciplinary training and have participated in collaborations with both academic groups and industrial partners.
My Ph.D. research is funded by Bodossakis Foundation, Greece and the EU programme H2020-FETOPEN (CATCH-U-DNA).
