Holds a B.Sc. in  “Medical Laboratory Science”  from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and a B.Sc. in “Molecular Biology and Genetics” from Democritus University of Thrace. Currently, he is enrolled in “Molecular Biology and Biomedicine”, a master’s program at the University of Crete, where he focuses  on developing methods to quantify algal environmental-RNA as a means of measuring  water-body toxins.
